"THE ONLY THING THAT IS CONSTANT IN LIFE IS CHANGE, AND THOSE WHO ADAPT THE QUICKEST GO THE FURTHEST."

Robert "Bob" Rosa

About Us

Texas Treasures Fine Art Gallery & Sculpture Garden is located in the small town of Boerne, Texas. The gallery is home to the creative works of 40+ leading and highly acclaimed National/International Artists and holds one of the largest sculpture collections in the state.

Johny Rosa, Owner of Texas Treasures, believes in treasuring each of his artists and clients, and remains dedicated to bringing only the very best “Raconteurs of Art.” A native Texan, Johny attests his knowledge and insight of fine art to the many years of experience he gained while working for an art gallery in Santa Fe, New Mexico. After opening and running his own successful gallery in Santa Fe, Johny decided to move back to his home state and shortly after returning made plans to open a fine art gallery in Boerne, Texas. After securing the location on Boerne’s Main Street, Johny and his team worked 40 days straight, renovating and restoring the location’s original building. Texas Treasures officially opened on April 9, 2011 and currently feature artists ranging in age from late 20’s – early 80’s and who hail from Russia, Italy, Santa Fe, Atlanta, New York, Arkansas, and Texas.

Texas Treasures has always prided itself in providing a friendly, intimate environment for the public to enjoy and continues to be a leader within the art community. The gallery has placed pieces in permanent collections within cities, museums, universities and private collections. Texas Treasures has also been the first gallery to set a bronze on the grounds of the Alamo in San Antonio, Texas. The piece, entitled “The Line” by Allegorical Artist James N. Muir, was a life-size monument of the historic figure Colonel Travis. Locally, the gallery has installed several monuments in their hometown of Boerne, which has begun to fully embrace public art. Resting on a bench, just off the main square, sits a life size bronze of “Wild Bill Hickok.” The piece, by Erik Christianson, was actually sculpted within the gallery, and represents Texas Treasure’s dedication to promoting fine art within their community.

Since the gallery’s official opening, Johny has always lived by the words of his father, “The only thing that is constant in life is change, and those who adapt the quickest go the farthest.” Today, Texas Treasures is a leading forerunner for the art community. The gallery is constantly tapping into new markets and strives to lead the way for innovating new ways to reach clients and collectors. With the launching of the gallery’s one of a kind custom interactive website, Texas Treasures has opened the door for many styles of art to be shown. While the gallery itself maintains high standards of original one of a kind fine art, the website will also be offering a wide range of prints and photography.

Texas Treasures Fine Art Collection is truly a rare find and a real ‘Texas Treasure.’

So be sure to stop by and meet the artists and the owner. You will not be disappointed.
