Sidney Sinclair earned her B.A. from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas and continued her love of
art at the Warren Hunter School of Art, also in San Antonio. This fourth generation Texan has studied
with many exceptional artists such as watercolorist Darryl Trott of Australia and oil painters David
Leffel and Gregg Kruetz of the Art Student League in New York City. To continue her quest for unique
avenues of expression, Sidney has studied with contemporary artists Linda Hammond, Gerald Brommer,
Jan Sitts and Joan Fullerton. For over twenty years, she has also studied with well known western artist
Jay Hester.

Sidney paints impressionistic traditionalism as well as abstraction using both to bring to life a story or emotion
for the viewer to enjoy.

Sinclair's work has appeared in American Art Review, Hill Country Lifestyle, San Antonio Woman, and Southwest Art to name a few. She

was the featured artist at the Alamo Kiwanis Annual Invitational Art Show, participated in The Museum of Western Art in Kerrville, Texas

and has her art in the permanent collection of the Pecos Museum in Pecos, Texas. Her work has been collected by patrons throughout
the United States and Europe.

For several years, Sidney has shared her vast knowledge with other budding artists through the gift of teaching. She has led workshops

and continues to teach weekly classes twice a week. "Art has been my passion for over twenty years. I want to convey my love of beauty

in life to others. Art is a gift from God and I want others to feel this spiritual connection when they look at my work.”
