Cascione earned a Master of Fine Arts degree from SouthernIllinois University at Edwardsville in 1973. He was a professor at the University of Southern Indiana and worked in advertising in Bloomfield Hills MI. He and his wife moved to Dove Mountain, Arizona in 2012. He has been painting, exhibiting, and selling in southern Arizona for 12 years.  The Cascione’s moved to San Antonio in 2024. Like many artists before him, Cascione was immediately moved to paint his vision of Arizona’s environment treasure.
